The winner of this event was Jakub"SB.Alernakin" Palen, who took the trophy without sacrificing one For Honor game. Palen chose the contentious Nobushi and utilized an exploit to ruin his opponents, leading to a bitter triumph for For Honor's developers and community.

It's been a long year for For Honor Steel Credits. It's gone through four seasons worth of additional content for the For Honor game, also in January Ubisoft declared Season Five, Age of Wolves. Dedicated servers are now coming to For Honor later this month. The For Honor game started with 12 Heroes across the three Factions, 12 maps with multiple variations, and five For Honor game modes, such as Dominion and Duel. Ahead of Season 5, there are 18 Heroes in complete, 16 maps, a brand new 4v4 Tribute For Honor game style, a host of balance changes, along with a lot of new armor, weapons, and executions. So where does For Honor stand together with the community now?

Well, while committed servers are starting on February 19, they are only coming to PC for now. This usually means the ongoing connection problems will still plague console For Honor gamers. The program is bring the machine over to console once it's been completely tested on PC. So while players are ecstatic about the addition, they are also unhappy because they don't know when it will come to consoles.

"Without dedicated servers, For Honor games console is a wreck even hoping to play brawl. My friends are fast straying away due to this. I hope it's soon after the 19th, because if not I won't stick around to see that the launch," writes Reddit user Chris_TelemusTGN.

Ubisoft is also making fairly huge modifications to For Honor's overall equilibrium. For all Heroes throughout the board, parrying is going to be rewarding overall. There will no more be free Guard Breaks on a parry. To get parries off a significant assault, For Honor Items players won't have sufficient time to get at a free Light Attack, while Light attack parries will offer just enough time for the majority of the match's Heavy Attacks. For figures based heavily around Parry punishing, this is a massive change and potential nerf sometimes.
