1. Could we please have the option to disable all broadcast and sales messages from the Private message tab, i'd like to know i could go afk for 30 mins and come back to see my messages.

2. Could you please increase the text character limit by atleast 25, this is a common problem in these types of games that gets rectified sooner or later so i'm suggesting now so we could get it sooner.

you can stop all broadcast sales messages from the chat tab   Bottom right of the chat box says "Block Sales"

Sorry was getting mixed up with sales and selling VIA broadcast, i would like that greyed out button in the setting to be accessible.

Switch to the Clan tab and set the options, thats what I typically do when I have to AFK for awhile, the only thing youll see is the braodcast chats and Pm's

Only a temp fix, as I would like to see some changes to the chat system

my suggestions (besides noted above)

1)remove World chat timer limitations to VIP users

2) Allow for the chat log to be longer (store more msgs in the chat screen)

3) When scrolling up to see a msg and a new one comes up it scrolls back to the bottom, Remove this feature as it makes it very hard when chat is zooming past.
