Bao my only logical confirmation for this stance is that if you send a hero from the sub city whic ...
Sorry to continue hijacking this thread, but just want to say that we all come from different background and what might sound logical to one party might not sound logical to another party, only facts can give confirmation.
For this case, I agree with you on "there is no possible way to give those sub city troops a bonus with a separate hero". So could the programmer had taken the easy way out and simply don't give the sub city troops hero bonus?
I'm not a programmer, so I'm not sure how tough or easy it is to program the following scenarios:
Scenario 1 (Sub-city troops get hero bonus)
1a. Check supporting troops for sub-city troops
1b. If sub-city troops, check for hero in the city being attacked and add the hero bonus to the troops.
1c. If not sub-city troops, check for hero.
1d. If got hero, program bonus for the troop, if no hero, no bonus for troops.
Scenario 2. (Sub-city troops do not get hero bonus)
2a. Check supporting troops for hero.
2b. If got hero, program bonus for the troop, if no hero, no bonus for troops.
Could the programmer had missed out the check for sub-city troops? Nobody knows except the programmer.
We can say "I think..." "you think..." but then who confirm?
Maybe only the programmer can confirm? And other than the mod/admin here, I'm not sure who else can check with the programmer directly to get a confirmed answer.
Naris, if you have the time and means, do try to do some tests. You might be surprised with the results. |
