There are all kinds of NPC live in Dragon Born World. Are they just a bunch of cold blood robots? Or they have their own colorful life too? Their history may be mysterious, bitter, or untouchable. Some of them can be your very good friends, the others you may just have to be careful to deal with.

Light up your mind, raise your pen, choose your favorite NPC, write a wonderful background story for them with your rich imagination.The literary form can be First-person, Biography or Narrative. The style can be Humorous, Scherzando or Poignant, as long as you like, there is no limitation.

We prepared a very bountiful gift for each spectacular article. Each praised author will get a code from admin, which can be used to exchange New Server Exclusive Gift Pack in S7 Forbidden City.

I luv Cedric. He was a Hunter Ranger of the Evernight Forest for long time ago before the beast turn into the demon. Evernight Forest was a peace full place for the beast hunter across the torrents. But since the Shadow Black Demon came into, they made the beast as their troops and turn the forest into the dangerous place for hunting, Cedric decide his destiny to become a General of the forest to keep hunters save and sealed the Shadow Black Demon into the dungeon of the forest temple.

Hi, I am mostly writing in the ST forum, But I wanted to try participate in this event.
I am not really into writing stories (I like imagining different things more, than writing in a form of a story…), but I tried it anyway, It’s a story about the skill trainer Angela (Since she would probably fit the mood of a story…)…
*My naming is a little strange so don’t mind it…Thought the story itself is also a little strange…

Part one:

A long time ago there was a small village by the name of Innelloa.
There lived two twins: A teenager boy by the name of Angelo and a teenager girl by the name of Angela.
Since the twin’s parents died from the hands of ogres, Angelo has trained to become a warrior, so he can join the Silverwing Order, to guard towns from the repeated attacks of ogres. Angela wanted to help her brother but she was not good with a cold weapon, so she learned magic from a few magic books that she found in her parents’ old room. Things went good for both of them, until one day, she unthinkingly opened the “box of Pandora”…
One sunny day in the forest of Innelloa:
“There is a lot more of them then we thought!”, said a voice, “We can’t let them go to the city!!!”.
“I will freeze them with my ice magic…!”, said another voice, “So, we would have more time to defeat them!”. Suddenly a mini army of ogres run right from a brush right in over to the Innelloa village. After a second, words of magic were heard, Then ice flow right on the ogres’ feet, while freezing them in place. From the brushes run two twins: a teenaged boy and a teenaged girl.
“Your magic is quite helpful, sister!”, said Angelo.
“I tried my best to learn it!”, said Angela while looking on the freezed in place ogres, “Thought, I wonder how long the spell would last…”.
“I would have to use some fast Aoe skills while you would use yours…”, Said Angelo, “I suppose we could finish them of before your spell wavers…”, he ended.
After that both of them used the most powerful aoes that they knew and so the ogres were finished of before they could even move one leg.
The twins were tired from using too much mana, so they walked home slowly. Suddenly Angela felt strange and stopped.
“What is wrong, sister?”, asked Angelo.
“It’s nothing…I just felt a strange aura around here…”, said Angela, “It’s probably just my imagination…”, she stood for a few seconds, “You can go ahead of me, I will be going right after you…”, Then Angelo went ahead.
“Why do I suddenly have this strange feeling…???”, wondered Angela while sighting. Suddenly a dark figure appeared out of nowhere carrying a dark book in it’s hands. The figure was surrounded by a strange dark aura. The dark figure went past Angela and mysteriously disappeared, dropping the book right on the road. Angela stood there surprised, not understanding what happened. “Who was that dark figure….???”, wondered Angela, “Was that even a human….???”, she wondered more, “And this strange book….”, she lifted the book from the ground and looked on it. It was a dark book, it also felt magical to Angela, but the book was also sealed. “This must be a book of magic!”, thought Angela, “It could have a lot of great spells for me to learn…!”, she continued, “I could learn them and help my brother…”, she ended. Then without thinking twice she tried to open the book, to her surprise the seal disappeared right away.
“Sister, are you coming…???”, asked Angelo while going towards her as she opened the book.
Suddenly a strange magic circle appeared under her feet, and a strange spell was cast. The sky became full with dark clouds, the sun disappeared, and the circle itself became a barrier, and outside of it hurled fire and lighting. It was so big that for a minute nothing can be saw. But as it ended, Angela understood that she made a big mistake, a mistake she will forever regret. Everything around her was destroyed, everything was in ruins, and near her was ash. “Brother……!”, she said in sorrow. Then she saw that it’s not all she did, strange dark auras appeared in different places and materialized into monsters, many of them and of different types. She thought that if she opens the book again, they would be absorbed inside of it, but the book completely disappeared. Then the monsters came right at her, to attack her. She fought them with her spells, but they hadn’t worked much on them. So, before long she was surrounded, without a way to escape. She thought that it’s the end, that she would die there without a chance to redeem herself. Suddenly, there was a white light, and it materialized into a white-silver necklace in a shape of angel wings. “What is this?”, wondered Angela as she touched them. Suddenly the wings were magically putted on her, and as they did, she found a new power in herself. To this moment, she used the power of the elements, from now on she could also use the powers of light and darkness. She attacked the monsters with a light spell, and to her surprise, it was “super effective”.
After a few minutes, all the monsters that surrounded her were dead. She wondered why she can use both elemental spells and light/darkness spells. “That is for you are a being of half human and half elf…”, echoed a voice in her head. She was surprised at first, but after thinking more about it, she understood that she shouldn’t be surprised anymore. If there are questions she want answered, she would search for the answer herself, and with that she began her journey.

Part 2:

Somewhere in the woods:
“’Search for the book of Daille’, they said…”, said a voice, “’It’s sealed’ they said…”, the voice continued, “’The creatures of darkness are trapped inside of it’, they said…”, it continued annoyingly, “’You just need to get back the book, and your mission will be completed’ they said…”, The voice began to rage, “If it’s like that, Why the **** am I attacked by an army of undead!!!!!!”, suddenly a few undead monsters got pushed back by fire. Then a teenage girl came running. She had black hair and red eyes, and was dressed in black robes. She also had a strange red emblem in the place where the heart is.
“Once this mission is completed, I will kill those geezers from the Arcane council with my own two hands…!!!!”, she yelled while attacking the monsters with spells. As she run, she saw Angela walking right before her.
“A member of the Silverwing order….???”, she wondered, “Or a fellow Arcane cousin member…???”, she continued, then she snapped, “Never mind that! I still need help here…”, she continued, “Hey you! Care to give a helping hand…???!”, she yelled to Angela.
“Ok….”, said Angela in surprise.
After a few minutes, surrounded by monsters’ corpses…
“You are not bad…”, said the black robed teenage girl, “So, what faction are you from?”, she asked.
“Faction…???”, wondered Angela, “I am not in a faction…”, she ended.
“That’s good…”, said the black robed teenage girl, “The dudes from Silverwing order are really annoying…”, she continued, “I am called Flaimma!”, she continued, “Some say, that it’s because of my character...”, she said angrily, “They say that I am like a burning fire…!!!”.
“I am Angela…”, said Angela.
“That is a name of a ‘good girl’…”, annoyingly said Flaimma, then she suddenly felt weak, ”It seems like an injury from fighting those monsters…”, she continued. Then Angela used a healing spell on her.
“You can use elemental spells and heal…???”, wondered Flaimma then she looked on the necklace around Angela’s neck, she was quiet for a few seconds, after that she became mad, “So, you are the one that opened the book!!!”, she yelled, “My sufferings are because of you!!!”. Angela shook her head and silently in a guilty voice, said sorry. Flaimma was surprised.
“No one said ‘sorry’ to me before….”, said Flaimma, “Besides, You must join the Arcane council now…”, she continued, Angela was confused, “Silverwing order only accepts the ‘innocents’ and the ‘heroes of justice’ in their faction, one mistake and you became an enemy…”, she ended. “Thought, there are also people there that don’t regard us as an enemy, I know one person who is like that…”, she added, “I suppose I can meet with her on my way to my faction…”, she added, “And you are coming with me!!!”, she said while pointing with a finger on Angela.
“Why…???”, wondered Angela. Flaimma became mad.
“First, you need to explain to my superiors what you did!”, said Flaimma, “Second, since you are the one who is responsible for all this mess, you should accompany me!”, she continued, “Third, If I say you will travel with me, then you will travel with me!!!”, she continued, “Got it now…???”, she asked with a smile.
“Yes…”, said Angela while looking on Flaimma with a “She’s really strange” face expression.

Part 3:

Somewhere on a valley near a beautiful river:
“Sister…???”, wondered a teenage boy that was wearing a warrior clothes, “Where had she gone again…?”, he said with a sigh and went to search for his sister.

Somewhere inside the forest:
“What!!!”, yelled Flaimma, “Darkness itself gave you that book???!!!”.
“That was darkness…???”, wondered Angela.
“According to what you told me, yes…”, said Flaimma, “But it’s actions are really strange, it could have opened the book by itself…!”, she ended in a surprised voice.

After a while of walking(near 3 hours…)…
“It’s strange…”, said Flaimma, “We should have exited the forest already…”, she continued, “Did it somehow turn into a magical forest?”, she suddenly paused, “I think I did it again…”,she ended while standing in place.
“What…?”, wondered Angela while standing near Flaimma, “You don’t mean…?”, she started asking.
“I got a bad sense of direction…”, Said Flaimma, “I got lost again…”, she continued. Then she saw that the trees became nearer to them even thought they hadn’t moved for a few seconds, “We have company…!”, she said while summoning an inferno, then she become annoyed, “Even the trees were turned to monsters!”, then she attacked a tree with magic. After that Flaimma and Angela fought the monster trees together. But, no matter how hard they fought those monsters, they seemed to increase more and more.
“It was my last mana potion!!!”, yelled Flaimma, “Why are they only keep coming???!!!”, she yelled.
“I also used all of the potions that I made from plants…”, said Angela while attacking a monster before her, “And, the tonics too…”, she continued while attacking a monster in the left of her. Each passing second the monster trees surrounded the party more and more.
“This is annoying!!!”, said Flaimma as she punched and kicked the monsters (since she didn’t had any mana left). Suddenly a few monsters were attacked by something and fall on the ground making a passage of monster corpses. Someone stood right before it. The figure looked like a bear.
“You became dull, Flaimma!”, said a voice. Then the figure walked to Flaimma and Angela (while looking like a human).
“What are you doing here, Girrvve???!!!”, Wondered Flaimma.
“That’s not something you should be saying to someone who just saved your life…”, said Girrvve. He had brown hair and orange eyes, and was dressing in archer clothes while holding a bow. He also had a strange red emblem hanging from his bow. Flaimma got annoyed.
“You hadn’t saved our life, you just surprised those monsters!”, said Flaimma. Girrvve smiled and took something from his robes. It was three teleportation scrolls.
“Here…One for each of us…”, he annoyingly said while giving one scroll to Angela and one to Flaimma, “Remember to give me something for it…”, he continued, after that, holding the scroll in his hand, and by saying “Teleportation” teleported somewhere.
“He hadn’t changed at all!”, said Flaimma, “The same smart-a** he was before!!!”, then she also teleported. Angela teleported after them.
To everyone’s surprise they were still inside the forest.
“What teleporting scrolls were they?”, asked Flaimma.
“Random portal scrolls…”, answered Girrvve, “I thought they would work…”, he sincerely said.
“I wonder what is worse”, Thought Angela, “Flaimma’s sence of direction or Girrvve’s ideas…”.
“What are we going to do now?”, wondered Angela.
“Do not worry, For I, a messenger of love and justice, had come to your aid!”, suddenly said a voice.
“It sounds like your friend…”, said Girrvve to Flaimma, then both of them sighed.
“I know it’s you, Lienna!”, started Flaimma, “Come out here!!!”, she yelled. After that there was a sigh, and a figure jumped right from a tree(Yes, she’s like Amelia from Slayers in a way…lol…). It was a teenager girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing white robes, and a strange blue emblem right where the heart is.
“Flaimma, you  ruined my entry speech…”,said Lienna in a sad voice.
“Sister!!!”, suddenly yelled a voice. Flaimma sighed.
“He is also here…”, Flaimma said in an annoyed voice as the figure drew nearer. It was a teenager boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing warrior clothes, with a strange blue emblem hanging from his sword.
“You!!!”, he yelled while putting a finger on Flaimma, “What a creature of evil such as yourself doing to my sister???!”, he asked(kind of), “Get away or by my sword I shall judge you!”, he proudly said. Flaimma got annoyed.
“What did you just said???!!!”, She yelled.

Part 4:

Inside of a living room, in a big house…
“You made such a mess…”, Said Lienna to Flaimma. Flaimma got annoyed.
“It wasn’t me who made this mess!!!”, she yelled, “I am in fact, the victim here…”, she continued in a sad voice. Girrvve laughed. Flaimma looked at him in annoyance.
“Hello miss, My name is Lionne”, suddenly said Lienna’s brother, “The whole journey must have been really hard on you…”, he sadly said, “Especially traveling with that creature of darkness and destruction…”, he said in a more sad voice. Flaimma became annoyed(like always).
“What did you just said???!!!”, Flaimma yelled at him.
“But it’s not too far from the truth, Flaimma…”, said Lienna, “Back when we were together in the Silverwing order, you would occasionally make trouble…”, she continued, “Like that time when you played with potions and turned everyone to flies, and that other time when you used a magic mirror and nearly burned the whole magic school…”.
“Really…???”, wondered Angela.
“Now I get it...”, said Girrvve, “That’s why you joined the Arcane council right in the middle of a mission…”, he continued, “You always make such a mess…”.
“My poor sister…”, said Lionne while crying, “She got into a very dangerous situations  because of that cruel creature…”. Flaimma got annoyed and mad.

After a few weeks(since the story is already longer that I planned it to be…”sigh”…)…
The party of Angela, Flaimma, Girrvve, Lienna and Lionne stood right before a long bridge that went to a dark flying castle surrounded by dragons. The sky around the heroes(kind of) was grey, while the sun was red. The party began crossing the bridge, while hoping to be undetected by dragons.
“What are we here for, again?”, Asked Flaimma.
“Well, we got back to the Arcane council, they were surprised that we were with a half-human half-elf and two members of the Silverwing order…”, started Lienna, “Then a strange dark figure appeared, we confirmed that it was darkness…the council began to blame Flaimma, she became mad…”, she continued, “Darkness attacked, somehow we survived even thought everything else was destroyed…”, the she cried, “Poor innocents, to die like that…”.
“And then, we went on a quest to avenge them!!!”, said Lionne.
“Actually, few of them survived, and asked to destroy darkness…”, said Girrvve, “They added that if we don’t, it will swallow the whole world, only leaving death and destruction…”, he continued, “They promised to award us if we succed…”, then he looked at Flaimma, “There were those that suddenly became very determinate to go…”. Flaimma got annoyed.

After a while, inside of the castle, in the throne room…
“So, you finally came, mortals!”, suddenly said a voice.
“Darkness!!!”, the party said in one voice.
“You are a very strange party…”, said the voice, “Strange indeed…”.
“What are you driving at???!!!”, annoyingly asked Flaimma.
“Your party has a half-human half-elf who uses both mage and healer skills that is still uncertain by what she needs to do…A mage from the arcane order that has a really hot and neurotic personality…An archer, from the same faction that likes to be known as a “know all”…A healer from the Silverwing order that fights “For love and justice”…Her brother, a warrior from the same faction, that dreams to drive every monster from the world…”, it smiled a little, “You are really a very strange combination…”, it paused for 3 seconds, “And probably, the best combination of all…”. The party was a little surprised.
“Stop blubbering things I don’t understand!!!”, Yelled Flaimma.
“What…???”, wondered Angela.
“Yey…We are a combination!”, said Lienna.
“I will surely destroy you…”, said Lionne.
“Interesting…”, said Girrve.
“You don’t have to think much about it…”, said darkness, “For I will kill you before you would be able to understand your power!!!”, then darkness attacked the party with a huge ball of darkness.
“You all are parts of something bigger…”, said another voice. Then a barrier of light appeared before the party, negating the attack. Then the party saw that it wasn’t really a barrier, those were souls of the dead.
“Brother!!!”, said Angela as she saw her brother along with them.
“You!!!”, yelled darkness.
“Yes, it’s me…”, said a voice. Suddenly a figure with light aura appeared near darkness, “Light, the other part of you…”. The party was even more confused.
“How did you come out???!”, wondered darkness, “I was in charge!!!”.
“Were you really…???”, said light, “We both were in charge, just your hold was stronger…”, it continued, “Now, our hold is the same…”.
“What is going on here…???”, wondered Angela.
“You know about Yin-Yang, don’t you…???”, asked light, “Just like that symbol states, Light and Darkness are always together everywhere, anytime…”, it continued, “One lives together with the other and one also dies together with the other…”, it continued while looking on darkness, then it looked on Angela, “It was me who dropped the book back then, the moment darkness got distracted…”.
“It was your voice…???”, wondered Angela.
“Certainly…”, said light.
“You are boring….”, said darkness, “And your whole talk is boring…”.
“And destroying everything is funny to you?”, asked light.
“Destroying, killing, hating…”, said darkness, “Those are really interesting…”.
“You creature of evil!”, yelled Lionne. Darkness attacked Lionne with a ball of darkness. Lionne got pushed back.
“You are annoying, so just lye there…”, darkness said. Then suddenly, it’s dark aura grew. It became bigger and bigger every passing second.
“Angela, Use the necklace and fuse the two of us together, in the way we should be…”, said light as she saw that darkness becomes bigger, “Before darkness becomes big enough to absorb the world…!”, she ended (And, yes, it somehow turned into a black hole…).
“Wait, you said that all five of us are parts of something bigger…”, wondered Angela.
“And, that necklace can fuse darkness and light together…”,said Lienna.
“If darkness is bigger that light, does it means that light will disappear if it gets fused with darkness…?”, wondered Flaimma.
“It seems that we have to fuse together, and somehow make darkness smaller…”, said Girrvve.
“All of us fused….”, Said Lionne in a scared voice while standing on his feet, “Together with the self destructing dark creature…?”, he continued. Flaimma looked at him annoyingly, “Ok, if it will save the world…”.
“But the one who uses the necklace would be sended to the future…”, said light.
The members of the party looked at each other, and made a choice: the world must be saved, even if the five of them won’t be together anymore. So, Angela used the necklace, the party shone in a white light and materialized into a figure of light.
“We are the five starts of destiny!”, started Lionne, “Choossen by the gods to destroy evil!!!”.
“In the name of love and justice…”, said Lienne.
“You are annoying!!!”, said Flaimma.
“They are so strange…”, said  Girrvve.
“Aren’t all of us a little strange…???”, wondered Angela.
After that the party attack darkness, made it smaller, then “defused”, and Angela became to fuse light and darkness together. As she completed the fusion the necklace disappeared and she was teleported to the future, 300 years after the time in which she meet everyone.
Angela was sad at first, but then she understood that everyone has something to do, her friends, that remained in the past are doing their best in fighting monsters(While doing to their best to not argue, make problems by mistake and not act silly…).
After that Angela decided to leave the fighting with monsters to the young generation, while she would be helping them in that. She opened a bookstore where she sold skill books that she made from her own magic, so that every inexperienced adventurer would be prepared for the long journey, be it a member of the Arcane council or the Silverwing order.
The end

*I thought that players would write short stories, so I thought about writing a two part short story…It somehow became a four part short story thought…
*I could have written a little more, but the story is strange enough already(It just somehow turned out this way…)+ If the story would actually get choosen (With “If” as the main word), I would only get a package, nothing more…
*Thought, it seems that everyone who didn’t cheat gets a code…
*To everyone who is wondering, I wrote it in microsoft word document first(Thought,it took time...), and then pasted it here...After I finally ended the story somehow...

Lucas sighed as he walked home, he opened the door of his house and sat down on a chair next to the fireplace. There he stared at his katana, he then began to recall his past, the war of the edo era. He painfully recalled how his friends died one by one and regrettably he was the only one alive out of all his squadron, the 3rd squadron. He also felt very guilty about all the people he had slain during that era, and he was one of the legendary manslayers, the mass murderers who killed without a single thought of hesitation, and even killed woman and children.The manslayers all had extraordinary skills with sword and could wipe out an entire armed force of men within minutes which was how they survived but then the revolution came and guns were developed. Right after, the Meji government (the revolutionary government) decided to overthrow the Imperial government (the government who ruled over the Edo Era). In the end, no matter how fast the manslayers could kill, the Meji government had too many squadrons of men who were all armed with guns and eventually killed out most of the manslayers. He had barely just escaped, and it was thanks to his comrade who saved him by shielding him from the bullets the very last moment and yelled at him to run away. But he stood up and thought "the past is the past and now is now." "I should live while i can, after all life is not long and the only way i can repent for my sins of slaying many people is by staying alive and helping others, dying right now is just trying to escape from my fate. With that, he set out again to the next village he could find to try and help them.
