I. Forum Rules

To keep our forums user friendly and welcoming, please respect the following rules:

1. Don’t Spam or Bump Threads

    Reduce the amount of meaningless content to help improve the overall quality of the forum! Please read the list of things to avoid below:

A) Posting repetitive threads or writing posts without content.

Don’t write posts that contribute nothing to discussion, especially if it only has a smiley or a number. Don’t make the same post or the same thread 3 times in a row. Make sure you aren’t creating threads that already exist.

B) Bumping threads

Don’t post in a thread just to bump it or “necro” old threads to the top of the forum without adding anything to the discussion.

C) Posting provocative or incendiary content

Don’t post anything simply to offend others or start an argument. Avoid harassing others or singling out certain other users for criticism. Forum moderators and admins reserve the right to interpret the meaning of “provocative” and “incendiary” and lock/delete threads, or even suspend and delete accounts of repeat offenders.

D) Posting large pictures or large walls of text to diminish usability for other users

Don’t post content for the sole purpose of hindering other users’ ability to enjoy the forum. You will be asked to edit posts that negatively impact the forum’s performance.

Any malicious or inappropriate posting will result in a warning. If the behavior continues it could lead to suspension of posting privileges. The forum Admins or Global Moderators will make the final decision in such cases.

2. Use an Appropriate Signature

Signatures containing graphic language or images are strictly forbidden. Any images used must be used with permission of the owner. Violators will be asked to remove inappropriate content; failure to cooperate will be punished with suspension of forum privileges.

3. No Advertising or Soliciting

Any form of advertising or soliciting is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, links to or endorsements of any outside websites, media, or merchandise.

4. Keep it Civilized

Avoid personal attacks, unreasonable complaints, rude and coarse language, crude jokes, or any other inappropriate and uncivilized behavior. We want to help create a welcoming and friendly forum atmosphere, so please avoid harassing or abusing fellow players. Moderators reserve the right to lock or delete any uncivilized posts.

5. Protect your Account

If you have account problems, please don’t post your login information(either your login name or your password) on the forum. Only send sensitive information through the private and secure Customer Service section.


6. Help us find Violations

    If you find any posts that violate forum guidelines, please help report them to a moderator! It will make it easier for us to find and delete inappropriate threads. Your help is always appreciated.


7. Getting Stickied Threads

If you have a particularly helpful thread that you think warrants a sticky, just send a message to a moderator with the title of your thread and a link. Thank you for your contributions!　

8. Avoid Sensitive Topics

We’re here to have fun, not get into arguments! Leave politics, religion, current events, scandals, and anything else in the real world and just enjoy yourself!

III. Usergroups

Forum users are divided into two main groups: members and special users. Forum moderators include Admins (Koramgame employees), Global Moderators (Koramgame employees), and Specific forum moderators (player volunteers). Members are divided into 7 different groups based on seniority and contributions.

IV. Points

A new point system has been implemented to help show which users are the most outstanding contributors! Users will continue to get points for posting and reading threads, but there are two new ways to get points.

1. Likes
If other players appreciate a post, they can "Like" it. Any player with more than 0 points can "Like" a thread.

2. Kudo Points
Especially extraordinary contributions will be contenders for winning coveted "Kudo Points." These points will be rewarded directly by moderators to the most helpful, creative, or entertaining users.

3. Point Calculation
Your Likes, Kudo Points, Stickied Thread count (10 points per sticky thread), threads read and online time add up to determine your point total.
The Formula: Points = Posts + Stickied Threads * 10 + Online Time (Hours) * 5 + Threads Viewed / 1000 + Likes * 2 + Kudo Points

V. Badges

Every forum will have at least one player volunteer to act as moderator. These players will receive a finely crafted badge to display beneath their forum name for their efforts. Each moderator can create special sticky threads of their choice in their forum and recruit other players to become permanent contributors to these topics.

Forum MVPs can help contribute to their own board by writing and contributing to special threads, some examples are listed below:  "Help & Questions" - Ask me anything!; "General Discussion" - Server Battle Reports; "Strategy Corner" - Strategy Catalogue; "Off Topic" - Signature Design HQ, etc. Any player who can make valuable contributions of informative and useful threads like these to the board of their choice should apply to be an MVP right away! Creation, updating, and recruiting of contributors for these special threads is the responsibility of the volunteer moderators and their chosen MVPs.

A fun and friendly atmosphere on the forums can only be established with the help of our users. We welcome any help we can get in making the forums more welcoming and helpful for new users, and more entertaining for our old users. If everyone helps stay vigilant for violators of forum policy or irresponsible moderators, the forum will become a better place for everyone! Similarly, if you ever encounter any problems or have any suggestions, let the forum admins know right away.

Warning: Don't follow any suspicious links on the forum! If you see anyone posting strange links, contact a forum moderator right away. Moderators will remove such suspicious posts as soon as possible.
