i agree with longlaw, though a mercenary thing wouldn't be too bad to implement sorta like the rattans etc but you can purchase their services (not too many though maybe 10k tops and make it start after 2 months in a server so a gold player can't just get 10k troops right out of bp

even with gold, if we allow a quick 5k-10k buy some people getting farmed straight out of BP that just cant keep their attacker down will be able tp turn things around. As long as it is restricted to stop people from buying 200k out of BP it is a great idea where we may not loose so many players once cleared

I would like to see a special recruiting building for the muster troops, allow a player to recruit them normally in addition to the 100 per day. But to make it fair, no RA allowed on the muster troops, and have it be like demos where you can't use training points to speed it up. Put a limit of lets say 500 troops in the que, and have to wait till finished to start another que. Since everyone agrees that attack is overpowered in the game, if this was limited to lets say Rattans, then it would help reduce the gap between gold users and non gold users.

nice idea .... but lets take it a bit further ...... koram can implement a spl feature where in you give certain amount of resources in the form of tribute ... say 50k of each or even gold ... then a certain amount of troops headed by a good hero comes to your rescue in the form of defense...like those NPC ... but they help you instead of attacking

Also a nice feature would be a "call of support" this feature should be there in each city .... so if you want support to the city you click it.... a message gets out to all your league members .... in command center there should be an option to send troops as support to this city....this is possible even now by doing an MM or calling out in LC/WC...but this new process makes in better

the sell troops sounds good but how about i add a little twist to it.

as seen in real 3k when we attack players we have a chance to have a few of their troops surrender to us hence when we attack a city and we win we can claim say 10% of the troops defending the city. it would be much more fair to both non- gold and gold users as there is no gold advantage on this feature to spam gold and buy troops. it also means that ppl cant jus get easy troops they have to attack players to get a chance to have troops surrender to them. maybe they can do the same for defenders to have troops surrender to them. but this is jus my 2 cents on the thread

BTW not everyone thinks attack is overpowered, just alot of so call good players dont know how to defend.

i dont think attack is overpowered........more people just smap attack and then dont have enugh defence and also dont know how to defend......with state capital defence definaately has an advantage!!

A few points to make:

1) Selling troops was made available in the past (U1-U4 merge), but it was removed

2) Reason why they removed it, is because gold users become seriously overpowered because of that. It also defied a game feature: Time Constraint. You can build only that much even if you are a gold user. Selling defied that. Therefore it was removed since mid-2010.

3) Making troops surrender and such, can lead to multi-account exploitation.

4) There was a similar thread to these topics long time ago...
