Should Battle Soul be changed or not?

I suppose the choices given in this poll are the easiest for Koram to accomplish.  We the players of TKO put a tremendous amount of time and our hard earned money into this game.  Is it too much to ask from Koram to put a little more effort into making this situation better rather than simply just leaving it or deleting it?

Heres my suggestion: This graph shows how BS currently adds levels to a hero.

Its 1 to 1 for every level of BS.  IMO this is only a problem once over Lvl100

Here's a propsed fix where Battle Soul becomes less effective as the Hero approaches lvl100

So under this system, the most a hero could gain would be 10 levels above 100. That would still be a huge advantage, but not an insurmountable one.  This way would not abandon BS, just bring its effects into balance with equipments and such.

I understand that the coding required to accomplish something like this would be more difficult than simply going back to the old way, or leaving it as is.  But are we the customers not worth the effort?

Keeping or deleting the Battle Soul; I have no problem with it. However, I would cry to myself for investing too much into Battle soul since it came out .  I totally agree with Vizion, keeping or deleting Battle Soul is not fair to TKO as a whole.  I agree that reducing the effects of Battle Soul down to a reasonable amount is better than deleting or ignoring them.

By keeping the current effect make it dont have effect like what the description said "chance to win", otherwise it should be changed to "increase hero lv by.."

Heroes is the only one aspect left from this game called "three kingdom",

battle skill book or not or red equipment upgrade is ok.. but please lower the gold spend for hero equipment, hero skill book , let us have more fun with hero upgrade , level up, skillbook, weapons, equipment etc like we  have  on mmorpg games.

reduce the gold and high inflation in this games.. gather more player, the more merrier .
and gold user without non gold user is nothing ( nobody to bully ).

long long time ago, i played on s3 ... just spend little gold like 1000 or 2000 , already get a lots freebies.
and now everything cost 10K gold.

I guess you haven't read the topic correctly. This is about battle Soul, this skill book increases your heroes lvl and helps him win duels. Recruit Assistant can't help me win duels.

This poll is not entirely accurate. It only covers one aspect of the problem whereas there are actually 2 questions in debate. 1. Should Battle Soul effect be withdrawn? 2. Is it fair on the players who bought BS skillbooks in the recent event? Regardless of what you feel about 1st question, the answer to the 2nd question is "No". This alone should be enough for TKO to reconsider and cancel any planed changes to BS skill books.  The only other option would be to provide a full refund to all the players who have purchased BS skill book from the event and a compensation + apology for being either Stupid or Greedy.

Glad to see Pro Vs Kontra with this issue..
I think KORAM should be give all player high level of BattleSouls skillbook as compensation for this BUG.. so maybe thats will make everyone happy.. and reduce pro kontra this issue.. .. and then all player happy.. the boss happy.. and the programmer happy too...

Looking at this situation, I think that a middle ground solution will work out on both sides. I agree with HughJasper and Kris. They cannot remove it or keep it or either side will be not happy. Why not a reduced effect as mentioned by HughJasper? Having a lv 136 hero is too overpowering!!

No way Koram will do that, you wish!

I have been playing TKO since the beginning, and they will never do that as a compensation for a bug. They already done the compensation: selling Divine Recalls and skill books with BS in the mall. But it's redundant if they are going to change it back.

Asking things for free for bugs that doesn't hurt, is simply greedy and too much, that's what I feel. Some more I paid for those so why should anyone else get it for free?

Hero level 136 Vs level 120.  Hero 120 hit nothing (missed) the battle soul of hero level 136 is 36% chance win the duel and not 100%. . Koram please do proper analysis on game structure.

as it sits right now its is NOT A % to WIN!

IT SIMPLE ADDS LEVELS. the added levels affect base stats, base stats effect hero performace. 36 levels adds 36 points which greatly contributes to a hero's dodge & attack

many people see these high level 100+ heros dodging a lot, its because of the extra levels.

please pay attention to what is actually happening.


BEFORE this change to battle soul I actually used it. It did NOTHING. there was not one single fight of several hundred that I lost the battle but ended up winning because of my BS %. not once. I had 21% BS so it should have worked pretty often.

anyways a downgrade of the level would be the best alternative and to make it easier on the programmers just make it an across the board buff since who in their right minds actually duels with their under 100 level heros?

well i have mixed feelings i think it is really unfair to those who spend hundreds of dollars to make their heroes strong and making their equipment +10, maybe some compensation for them would be better because this changed after it was bought.
i do like the fact that any hero can lose but like i said it is a rip off for those who bought steel to make there heroes +10. i think it is a little to much but i also like it. and not just when i win because i feel bad when i beat a hero that is 3 times better than mine. its really not fair  to them.

well compared to all those that rushed and bought books and those that changed out books to get Battle soul books, i jus keep my heroes as they are. only one hero that did not have books but slots were opened i jus thrown in 2 BS books that i had.

my opinion is that having the BS is only good for maybe hero weekly tournament to win those events. when u at war u need encourage, inf/cav/archer LDr books, etc. these are more important.

i would not mind it revert back to its original role but i think the main thing is to look at those that have spend alot of money to buy these books recently. i think the need to indicate it was a trial run was most important.

I not trying to point ppl for this issue, but please if KORAM are professional company,which want international players play its game or product, they need to be more professional, this kind of issue cannot be tolerate. Gold players and Non Gold players all are players, KORAM need all of them, SO PLEASE DON'T RUIN THIS GAME WITH THIS KIND OF ISSUE. This issue very sensitive.
