U1 Guide To Server UnitingHello everyone, if you are just joining the thread that I have rellocated and cleaned up quite a bit, then this is where I will explain how to produce a scary amount of troops for attacking and defending with. For my example, I will be using a very common and strong unit that archer players love - Crossbow Elites. So, the total production that I am aiming for is 2500 Crossbow Elites / Day. Let the calculations begin:
2,500 CBs per Day * 7 days = 17,500 per Week * 4 weeks = 70,000 per month <--- BOSS STATUS
Wood: 1,440 * 2,500 CBs per Day = 3,600,000 Wood per Day
Stone: 2,310 * 2,500 CBs per Day = 5,775,000 Stone per Day
Iron: 860 * 2,500 CBs per Day = 2,150,000 Iron per Day
Food: 1,150 * 2,500 CBs per Day = 2,875,000 Food per Day <--- This is not even important! You will see why.
1 plot on 100% with max landmarks and no manor bonus = 3,647 per Hour
1 plot on 100% with max landmarks and a manor bonus = 4104 per Hour
Gem Income @ 20 Basalts per Day: <--- This is a minimum that every player should meet (I get 30-40 per Day)
50,000 per Resource * 20 = 1,000,000 per Resource per Day
Other Income: <---- Resource Wars minimum and Daily Market
100k per Resource per Day from Resource Wars
100k minimum for One resource from Daily Market and 100k minimum food from Daily Market
Now that we have compiled the info for the basic plots and income lets see what we need to get these guys rolling off the assembly line:
Now remember we are subtracting the 1,000,000 from each resource to account for gems*
3,647 * 24 = 87,528
2,600,000 Wood per Day / (3,647 * 24) Resources per Plot per 24 hours = 30 Plots
4,775,000 Stone per Day / (3,647 * 24) Resources per Plot per 24 hours = 55 Plots
1,150,000 Iron per Day / (3,647 * 24) Resources per Plot per 24 hours = 13 Plots
1,875,000 Food per Day / (3,647 * 24) Resources per Plot per 24 hours = 21 Plots
Now lets take in manor bonuses and figure out where to build:
Note* your capital is going to have military plots on the flat land and then food, silver, cavalry plots for carriers (until massed to sufficient amount)
Stone Bonus Manors: 3 <---- Take a middle stone manor! Like River Hills!
Iron Bonus Manors: 1
Food Bonus Manors: 4 <--- Take those middle 6666 manors and turn them into food/resource/military
Wood Bonus Manors: 2
With this you can subtract 1 plot from your wood and iron. You can also subtract 2 plots from your stone. The calculations for these take too long and are pure estimation based on personal experience.
Total Resource Plots Needed that are NOT Food = 98
Average number of explosives given by koram is enough to open almost 2 plots in every manor for food.
Including the Food Plots opened with explosives you will have 60 bonus Food Plots.
Minimum Food output based on Plots solely bonused for Food:
60 * 24 * 3,647 = 5,250,000 MINIMUM / DAY
Add this to your other incomes such as Resource Wars, Market Incomes, Plantation Wars, and Gems.. What you get is a crazy amount of leftover food to use that you have been stocking day after day. Also I am not counting the flat grouds or non 100% bonus plots you may build food on AND I am not counting manor bonuses for the 4 food manors.
Now for the Discussion part and why this is better than massing U2 or any other kind of method:
You have the option to add in 400 T2 Siege per Day on the leftover Capital flat land spots, so if you want to complain about siege then go ahead cause that is plenty for a few heroes if massed over time. This production will have you up and running faster than anything else of worth, I say of worth because you could mass anything below this sooner and faster, but they will burn out on you in 1-2 hits. If you mass 500 U2 per Day, you don't end up with very many troops. It may COST less to build that, but we don't care about cost we care about output and 500 a day versus 2500 a day will never win out. The reasoing behind this logic is that cost is unimportant if you take into account that the only thing you are out to do is maximize your troop production, which we have done and at little to no actual cash cost. I hope people put this guide to use in the future and take the time to calculate the unit they wish to work with! This works for every U1 guys so have a go and take out your enemies quick! Also, if you kill a kingdom you are likely to get more actives from them as they will join the strong faction :) Also note that if you are killing enemy kingdoms troops effectively then you will be safe to rank up in LMS, BR, and own 4.4 in RW for more benefits. Doing good in LMS will help you skill out your heroes to adjust to the U1 you have chosen without waiting to find the good archer heroes, cav heroes, etc.
Additions After Discussing:
After discussing on this thread for the past few days with players, it is evident that U2 will eventually become important to close a server. There will always be those 1 or 2 kingdoms that don't move after taking their 60 cities and sit back to sim up their u2. Obviously this is the part that hurts later and can get tricky. This is why I have come to the conclusion that after 2-4 weeks of producing U1 at my rates, it would be best to switch over to u2 and fill out a few of your best heroes to maximizing your kill rates, but still be able to tank out some good hits with your expendable u1. This may take some minor resource adjustments or a few easy exchanges at the resource exchange to adjust, but overall people may find this strategy a bit more likeable than to just fighting with u1. No silver wasted on getting 2 unit types to level 20 attack and defense, plus you already have the plots ready to go for spamming the u2. 450 / day isn't a bad output when you already have a force advancing city by city every day. If you have to defend from another city attacking you, U1 archers will tear apart any attacking force to small bits from the walls. Enough defending u1 on the walls and you may never see those walls come down, but if by some chance you do then the enemy will never tear another wall down of yours again. These wars are not city based, they are troop based; cities can be taken in a day, but troops take weeks to develop and that is a war of attrition. Hope everyone enjoys! Nice calculation. Ur output is for mid-late game is it?
How long u need before using ur calculation, ur manors make 2500xbow a day?
(can u improve ur explaination and calculation?)
Thx a lot I mean with screenshots. "Red-Haire replied at 1-5-2012 08:59 static/image/common/back.gif

How long u need before using ur calculation, ...
Research wise you could finish U1 in less than a week after server starts and focus towards IF while converting silver manors to resource as you take the ones you want. This isn't really mid game strategy, this is around the one month mark for servers to start hitting production, but pretty much as soon as you finish upgrading your manors and landmarks are maxed you will be full blown into this. I can add screen shots in the future, but right now I am a gold user with a hybrid build, so it will have to wait until next server and I will timeline my progress to show people purely silver made how long this takes. Also keep in mind I will also be helping the kingdom to expand and such at the same time, plus stims, and landmark donations. Once Yan start to hit, I recommend farming them as a silver player as much as possible between attacks. With the food available to you, you will have no issues going from the front lines to middle or back of the kingdom to farm Yan with 10 heroes. "Average number of explosives given by koram is enough to open almost 2 plots in every manor for food."
Koram gives out 33 free explosives in first month of a server? I must've been sleeping through the handouts.
Thx a lot for ur effort vicious6.
I love to see ur results and screenshots and all that u got to show.
Very nice job, anyway I rise some questions and some uncertainties in ur another thread, not to flame, but to seek ur views. Hope I can learn from what u see.
Thx thx.. =D Domokun replied at 1-5-2012 11:44 static/image/common/back.gif

You must have been cause at one point I had 26 explosives and I didn't pay for a single one :P Though I may have just gotten really lucky with the events and random items. Also I said they give out almost enough for 2 at each manor haha, you may fall a bit short but you get the idea on that and food isn't an issue. For small time gold spenders if you invest in food plots you will go a whole extra 10 miles and can donate freely to help more :) "Red-Haire replied at 1-5-2012 12:17 static/image/common/back.gif

haha I am sure a lot of people were annoyed at my previous thread, though I had been half dead on no sleep with a few drinks and looking to rant / make sure no one ever did not have troops again. That was mainly pointed at my kingdom and the other kingdoms who don't have troops... If they seriously need a handout I will give them that much and hope for the best from there. at 3-4 months into a server being a main active and all, there is no excuse to be under 1M dev unless you have been spamming u2 from the start and don't really get all that much due to the recruiting times.. But I have players putting out a few units of T2 and T3.. absolutely rubbish. Also, I just realized but with minor adjustments to your resources later on you could start pumping u2 with those same 25 ranges making about 450 u2 / day after having reached 100k u1. I am sure this would more than satisfy one's need to mass troops. Also, if you run out of u1 to spam at your enemies then you are free to switch back to making u1 for a week and refill your heroes.. um for silver players they don have gold to buy clarion call -_- don u think of that and they don give free clarion call now ryugun replied at 6-5-2012 15:19 static/image/common/back.gif

Where did I mention clarion call for silver players? u say to change after u mass 100k u need the call to change man I think he is saying you would choose same unit type for U1 and U2. No need for a clarion call if that is done. ryugun replied at 8-5-2012 13:44 static/image/common/back.gif
u say to change after u mass 100k u need the call to change man
Yes, Domokun knows what I am saying and I believe I posted (if not I will clarify after this post) that you will choose the same u1 and u2 type. I am not saying change your u1 and u2, I am saying switch from making u1 to making u2 which is also the same type of unit. For example, White Stallions -> Rabid Horsemen.
